Description : A coordinated set of multi-member ensembles of retrospective forecasts (hindcasts) initialised each year from 1960 to the present (otherwise every second year). Radiative and other forcing information (e.g. greenhouse gas concentrations, aerosols etc.) maintained at initial state value or projected in a simple way. No inclusion of volcano or other short term forcing unless available at initial time. Initialise from observations. Run each member for at least 5 years, preferably 10 years.
